The Great Escape: From High School to the Real World (and My First Boarding House!)

Yo, what's up, world? It's your boy, Xypril Roy G. Elarmo , officially an 18-year-old adult and a college freshman. I know, I know, "adult" is a big word, but I'm definitely feeling the weight of responsibility now that I'm living on my own.   So, let's talk about my new digs. I finally moved out of my parents' house and into my Boarding House. It's a small place, but it's ok! It's got a tiny kitchen, a bedroom that's barely big enough for my bed, and a living room that doubles as a gaming zone. It's not fancy, but it's our haven together with my boardmates, my own little world.   The first few weeks have been a whirlwind of unpacking, setting up, and figuring out how to actually cook a meal that doesn't involve  Noodles/Pancit Cantoon. I'm still getting the hang of things, but I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I've even learned how to do laundry.   Life outside the classroom has been a blast. I'...
